PURPOSE:To shorten total processing time and to reduce a required memory area by discriminating the truth or falsehood of a paper money and a stock, etc., that is a check target by using data for decision when the execution of all the subroutine for check processing are completed. CONSTITUTION:When the check processing of prescribed plural information items are performed on an information carrier which holds the information items sequentially and the truth or falsehood of the information carrier is discriminated, the data set in advance is updated sequentially by performing the logical operation with result data representing the result of the check processing, and after the check processing of all the information items are completed, the decision processing of the data for decision is performed. In other words, no processing is performed such that a result is decided or the result is stored in the memory, at each check processing. Thereby, it is possible to shorten the total processing time and to reduce the required memory area. |
