An outside advertising material measurement system and a method for measuring the size and area of the outside advertisement material for the organization of the outside advertisement material are provided to calculate the size and space of the outside advertisement material by using two images of the outside advertisement material by using two cameras. A first and second cameras(10,12) take a picture of the same outside advertisement sign with respective duplication. A camera data collector(14) collects two image data by taking a picture of the same advertisement material through first and second cameras. An outside advertising material size measurer(18) performs the pre-processing producing the outside elements of orientation defining the photographing position about the first and the second camera and posture. The image coordinates about the image of 2 and the outside elements of orientation collected by the camera data collecting part are calculated and the three-dimensional model coordinate is produced. The three-dimensional model coordinates the size and area of the corresponding outside advertisement sign is measured on the basis. |
