<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen gas sensor capable of being constructed relatively inexpensively without detection property being greatly influenced by environmental condition despite of possessing of gas selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: A metal catalyst layer 3 is formed which carries metal or alloy with catalyst functionality by getting contact with hydrogen gas at least one lateral face, and a carbon planar object 2 with breathability formed of any of carbon paper, carbon cross, carbon nanotube, fullerene, graphite, nano carbon, carbon black, and carbon fiber is linked with the both sides of the carbon planar object 2 at electrodes 4a and 4b with breathability in order to supply detecting object gas to one electrode 4a and oxidizer gas to another electrode 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
