FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, particularly to melioration when growing crops, mainly vegetables, using a drop irrigation system. The method involves preplanting soil treatment and removal of weeds, laying-out and fixing flexible irrigation pipes with droppers built into their cavities. Further, irrigation is done using each dropper until closure of watering contours and transplanting is then carried out. Before laying-out the flexible irrigation pipes, a bright orange marker is deposited by winding a bobbin above each water outlet of the dropper. After laying-out the flexible irrigation pipes, washing and pressure testing, irrigation water is fed at a rate of 0.5-1.0 l/h for each dropper so as to form a watering contour on the surface of the irrigated strip without joining adjacent contours. A white coloured ferromagnetic sensor is then placed on the surface of the flexible pipe at the centre of the watering contour and plants are then planted near the sensor. ^ EFFECT: method reduces expenses on manual labour for removing weeds and increases yield of vegetable plants. ^ 4 dwg |
