A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots assembled of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner connected in series, and also of an unloading conveyer. The cleaner is made as a hollow cylinder connected to a rotary actuator which has in the lower part two unloading spouts of a cylindrical shape. In the centre of the lower part of the hollow cylinder a circular hollow is arranged. Inside thereof a double-bladed beater fixed at the end of a projecting driving shaft mounted inside a hollow cylinder from above is arranged. Under the lower part of the hollow cylinder an additional cleaner is arranged, this comprises the upper cylindrical part and the lower conical one, which are made of round transversal rods mounted with gaps. It is connected to the rotary actuator the rotational direction of which is opposite to the rotational direction of the hollow cylinder. A finger gravity separator arranged as an inclined one is brought under a lower outlet of the additional cleaner. |
