PURPOSE:To set the next through point as a destination with manual operation by setting the next through point as a destination when a moving body comes close to the destination or a switch means is operated. CONSTITUTION:A GPS (global positioning system) receiver 2 demodulates the electric wave from a GPS satellite, which is received through an antenna 1, to output the latitude data and the longitude data of a current position of an automobile per about one second. An electronic control device 3 computes the current position on the map on the basis of the latitude data and the longitude data from the receiver 2 and the map data memorized in a ROM, and the current position is displayed by an atlas gauge 5. The device 3 also reads out preset through points one by one in order to set it as a destination. When a moving body comes close to the destination, a buzzer is rung, and the next through point is set as the destination in order. Furthermore, in the case that a renewal switch provided in a key board 6 is operated, the next through point is set as the destination in order. |
