PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for the increase of the floor area of a machine room when a device to automatically seat during outage is added by arranging a second control panel, the size of which is reduced, on a first control panel to contain an operation control device during purchased power, and coupling the second control panel to a first control panel. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is brought into outage during operation of an elevator from a second floor to a third floor, a battery BT being a power source during outage is charged by means of a charger CH. When outage is detected, an inverter INV starts an output by means of a control circuit C1R 4 of a device to automatically seat during outage. To feed an output voltage to each circuit, a voltage fed to each circuit is generated by means of a boosting transformer TR2, an outage detecting relay B is energized by means of the output voltage of the boosting transformer TR2, and a power is fed to each circuit through contacts B1-B3 of an outage detecting relay. A valve V is operated by means of a valve control circuit C1R 3, and a cage CAGE starts lowering under gravity. An elevator is stopped at a second floor, and after a door is opened, the elevator suspends operation until a purchased power is brought into outage. |
