1. An imaging device comprising:
an image sensor provided with pixels sensitive to visible light and near infrared light regions and pixels sensitive to the near infrared light region; a color reproduction processing unit that performs color reproduction processing with the use of a signal from the pixels sensitive to the visible light and near infrared light regions and a signal from the pixels sensitive to the near infrared light region among signals outputted from the image sensor; a visible light amount calculating unit that calculates a signal quantity of the visible light region with the use of the signals outputted from the image sensor; and a control unit that controls the color reproduction processing unit such that the color reproduction processing is carried out based on the signal quantity of the visible light region calculated by the visible light amount calculating unit.
