PURPOSE:To quicken the vanishment of the current of the phase being excited up to now when phase excitation changes over by inserting a resistor in series with a flyback diode. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 4 is inserted in series with a flyback diode 2, that is, between this diode 2 and a DC power source 12V. What is more, the figure shows the circuit of one phase of a stepping motor drive, and in fact it uses four circuits (that is, for four phases). Moreover, for a transistor 3 and a diode 3, the ones being combined and built beforehand in a transistor array are used. The inductance of the winding 1 of a stepping motor is 19mH, and as a resistor, carbon resistor of 2.2kOMEGA is used. And a closed circuit comprised of the motor coil winding 1, the resistor 4, and the flyback diode 2 becomes the attenuating circuit of the current IL of the motor coil 1 when the transistor 3 is off. |
