An embodiment of the present invention provides an overheat measurement method capable of detecting overheat by acquiring and analyzing the temperature change of a cooker from a thermal image sensor during the process of cooking and preventing a fire accident due to the overheat by being linked with an alarm unit and a gas circuit breaker and an overheat measurement device using the same. To that end, the present invention includes: a step (A) of acquiring temperature data from each pixel of a thermal image sensor; a step (B) of selecting pixel(s) of which the temperature is higher than a first temperature (T1) among the pixels in the step (A) to generate a region of interest (ROI); a step (C) of generating a buffer to store the feature data of the ROI; a step (D) of extracting temperature features from the feature data; a step (E) of determining overheat of the ROI; and a step (F) of, if the overheat of the ROI is determined in the step (E), outputting the overheat result. |
