<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to accurately input a graphic, a character, etc., to a computer body without changing its plotted contents and to easily operate three-dimensional graphic data also by detecting the rotational directions and moving amount of rotors for detecting (x), (y) and (z) axes. CONSTITUTION:When a free curve 43 is plotted in the pressed state of a ball 6 to an x/y axis operation face 42, the ball 6 is rotated. The reflected beams of the pattern groups 18, 19 of the rotating rotors 7, 8 from a light reflecting part 16 are detected by respective light receiving elements 7, 8 through respective light guides. The rotational directions and moving amount of the ball 6 in the (x) and (y) axes directions are detected and the detected data are inputted to the computer body through a cord to display a free curve. On the other hand, the rotational direction and moving amount of a rotor 33 are detected by abutting the disk 34 of the (z) axis detecting rotor 33 on a (z) axis operation face 45 and rotating the disk 34 along the face 45 and the detected three- dimensional graphic data are inputted and displayed to/on the computer body.</p> |
