PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means that detects the size of a medium to be conveyed with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A medium conveyance device comprises: a guide part that is arranged movably relative to a medium mounting part to regulate the position of media mounted on the medium mounting part; a paper feeding part that feeds the media mounted on the medium mounting part; a multi-feeding detection part that detects multi-feeding of the media fed on the downstream side of the paper feeding part in the direction of conveyance of the media; and a medium size detection member that is arranged at a position facing the multi-feeding detection part and operates in conjunction with the movement of the guide part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
