The present invention relates to a method for preventing traffic accidents in an intersection and a system thereof. When signals change abruptly near an intersection, a vehicle approaching the intersection after a straight or left turn signal at the intersection frequently crashes into another vehicle entering the intersection after receiving a signal in another road while approaching the intersection without being able to stop at a stop line of the intersection due to the acceleration of the vehicle. To solve the problem, an intersection traffic accident prevention system according to the present invention is configured to have front and rear electric signs arranged on left and right sides of roads or traffic lights in the intersection in order to output an image of a right road on the front electric sign arranged on the right side of a front road on a real-time basis and output an image of a left road on the rear electric sign arranged on the left side of the opposite part of the front road on a real-time basis. The present invention can prevent intersection traffic accidents due to the collision between a vehicle which approaches the intersection while ignoring signals in the intersection and a vehicle in another road which enters the intersection in accordance with a switched signal. |
