<p>PURPOSE:To improve adhesive strength, scratch resistance, and quality of printed characters regardless of the quality of a recording paper by specifying the shear strength of an ink compsn. which is solid at room temp. and contains a vehicle and a colorant. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle contg. 70 wt. % or higher solid org. solvent having an m. p. of 70 deg.C or higher and a shear strength (at 25 deg.C) of 0.05kg/mm<2> or higher or a Vickers hardness (at 25 deg.C) of 2.5 or higher, a colorant, and if necessary an antioxidant, etc., are compounded to give an ink compsn. for ink jet recording having a shear strength (at 25 deg.C) of 0.05kg/mm<2> or higher and a Vickers hardness (at 25 deg.C) of 2. 5 or higher.</p> |
