PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mammalian embryo processing methods for producing mammalian embryos with high quality.SOLUTION: A mammalian embryo is irradiated with far-red light. The embryo is irradiated after 8 cell stage with the far-red light from the bottom face of a culture dish to culture the embryos at 0.1-20 mW for 0.5 minutes or more, an irradiation part is apart by about 1 mm from the surface of the culture dish, and preferably the length of the far-red light is 700-1400 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
