PURPOSE:To improve discharge voltage by providing a magnesium compound layer between a porous sintering substrate and an active material mainly composed of a nickel oxide. CONSTITUTION:A magnesium compound layer exists between a porous sintering substrate and an active material mainly composed of a nickel oxide. In general, when kind of element is added to an active material mainly composed of the nickel oxide, ion conductivity is improved, resistance of the active material is reduced but discharge potential of it is risen. As an example thereof, addition of magnesium can be considered, and according to a position of this magnesium compound layer, discharge potential further rises and thereby high discharge voltage can be obtained inspite of a small quantity addition of a magnesium compound. |
