PURPOSE:To weave excellent-performance and low-cost hollow weave air bag base cloth the use of a jacquard machine by weaving a double elastic webbing with a jacquard machine wherein the warp is suspended by folding-screen suspension method. CONSTITUTION:A double elastic webbing is woven by a jacquard machine wherein the warp is suspended by folding screen suspension method of folding- screen sewing process. The folding-screen suspension method of folding-screen sewing process is the suspension method used in weaving a laterally symmetrical pattern, in which, sewing is made toward the middle by running successively or skippingly from both ends of a comber board 9. In this case, since two identical threads are lined in the center of the comber board, one thread is omitted to prevent a broken desing and the other thread is used as the core axis of the symmetry, in the method. In the folding-screen suspension method of folding- screen sewing process, two through-threads at the lateral symmetrical positions relative to the center core axis are out on an identical hook, the number of hooks used in the jacquard machine can be 1/2 of the total number of warp threads consisting a single pattern. |
