摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress the range where a mounting head can move to a minimum limit similarly to the case of one nozzle due to a structure in which suction nozzles are positioned at the same position by radially disposing a plurality of suction nozzles of a component mounting head outside a cylindrical rotary housing. CONSTITUTION:A robot 5 supports a mounting head 4 and move it in vertical directions (Z-axis direction) perpendicularly to a table 3. A nozzle indexing mechanism 31 has three types of suction nozzles 34, 35, 36 disposed radially to protrude at equal angular intervals (120 deg. in this case) on the outer periphery with a cylindrical rotary housing 33 as a main body. The nozzle 34, 35, 36 are inserted fixedly to the end of a rotary shaft 49 disposed rotatably about a center line in the cylinder extending radially outside the housing 33 to communicate with an air vent port 51 formed at the side of the cylinder through a slender passage 50 formed at the center of the shaft 49. In the case of use, the air is sucked from the port 51 by using a vacuum pump, etc., to hold a component 52 to the end of the nozzle 34.
