PURPOSE:To discriminate correct reception of a facsimile broadcast signal by detecting a frame synchronizing signal and lighting an LED even when no program is sent and no print-out is implemented. CONSTITUTION:A frame synchronization pattern is detected in the step n1 and when it is discriminated that the pattern is detected, a synchronizing signal is recovered and the synchronizing signal is outputted in the step n2. A synchronizing recovery detection signal is outputted in the step n3, then the step n4 is proceeded and the synchronizing recovery detection signal is used to light an LED. When it is discriminated that the frame synchronizing pattern is not detected in the step n1, the step is proceeded to the step n5, the recovery of the synchronizing signal is stopped and the synchronizing recovery detection signal is turned OFF in the step n6. The LED goes off in the step n7. Thus, whether or not the facsimile broadcast signal is correctly received is judged at a glance by observing the lighting of the LED. |
