PURPOSE:To reduce noise and power consumption at the time of post purge, by such a control that fan-blown flow rate after completion of combustion is adjusted to a preset flow rate or to the fan-blown flow rate before the completion of combustion according as the fan-blown flow rate before the completion of combustion is higher or lower than a preset flow rate. CONSTITUTION:When an operating switch 8 is turned OFF, a microcomputer 7 stops a fuel pump 15, thereby finishing combustion and causing a post purge operation to be carried out according to data on the rotational frequency of a burner fan 14 immediately before the finish of the combustion. Where the rotational frequency data is higher than a 'medium' rotational frequency, the microcomputer 7 performs such a rotational-frequency control as to operate the burner fan 14 and a hot air fan 4 at 'medium' rotational frequencies. Where the rotational-frequency data is not higher than the 'medium' rotational frequency, the microcomputer 7 causes the fans 14 and 4 to be operated at the same rotational frequencies as those immediately before the finish of combustion. Consequently, residual gas in a burner is exhausted, the burner is cooled sufficiently, and reductions in noise and power consumption at the time of a post purge operation can be contrived. |
