[Also in Divisions F1 and F2] An electric motor M surmounts a pump 85 and is lubricated by lubricant from an external source. Lubricant passes via line 114 to chamber 120 adjacent shaft bearing 80, and via 115 to a chamber adjacent to shaft bearing 57. Lubricant escapes to fill the motor compartment and exits by overflow line 116, valve 117, sealed chamber 76, and line 66. The motorpump unit is submerged in a medium and pump 85 pumps the medium through the annular space 38 around the motor compartment. The lubricant may heat or cool the motor.
