<p>PURPOSE:To monitor a violation packet even when the arrival interval of packets is fluctuated statistically by setting a packet as a violation packet arrived when an accumulation value of a difference between the arrival interval of a packet at a peak rate and the arrival interval of a packet obtained from the result of monitor exceeds a threshold level. CONSTITUTION:A monitor equipment 5 identifies a packet generated in a terminal equipment 10a among packets multiplexed on a subscriber line and monitors whether or not the terminal equipment 10a generates a packet in excess of N packets within a time interval T. Thus, M-sets of numerals {alpha1¦ 1<=i<=M, 1<=alpha1<alpha2<...<alphaM} and {beta1¦ 1<=i<=M, beta1>beta2>...>betaM=0} are decided to measure number of packets reached within M-sets of time intervals alpha1T and a packet in excess of alpha1(1+beta1)N within at least one time interval alpha1T is discriminated to be a violation packet and then the transmission control is applied to the violation packet.</p> |
