<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which is free from an improper suitability for reading bar codes with time, even in case the recording medium has been laid in a shelf for a long time under such a condition that it is in contact with a film, a synthetic leather, etc. or under high temperature and humidity conditions, and further, which shows excellent heat/plasticizer resistance in the imaging part. <P>SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive recording medium includes a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a colorless or pale-color electron-donative leuco dye and an electron-receptive developer, formed on a support.
