A pneumatic conveyer tube junction for particulate material comprises an inlet 2 and outlets 3, 4 and is provided with flaps 15, 16 which are mounted at 25, 26 adjacent the inlet 2 and are urged resiliently towards the full-line position shown. On applying suction to the outlet 3, air flow through the inlet 2 and outlet 3 causes the flap 15 to lie along the wall 5 of the junction. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the flap 16 is omitted when the outlet 3 is aligned with the inlet 2. |
