PURPOSE:To prevent the turning state of a vehicle from being suddenly changed by providing a hydraulic pressure control unit which adjusts hydraulic pressure acting on a power cylinder, and providing the unit with an orifice mechanism which gradually varies hydraulic pressure acting on the power cylinder when rear wheels are restored to straightfoward position. CONSTITUTION:In a hydraulic pressure control unit 10 for controlling a power cylinder 20, lands L1, L2 are formed in the spool valve SPL of a solenoid switching valve 12 to the common port 13 of which hydraulic pressure regulated by a regulator valve 50 is fed and grooves G1, G2 are formed in housing 12a. The space between the respective edges of each land L1, L2 and each groove G1, G2 is narrowed so much as to form variable orifices 51, 52; 53, 54. When rear wheels are restored to straightfoward position the spool valve SPL is put in its neutral position so as to narrow all of the variable orifices 51 to 54 and pressures within chambers 27, 28 are gradually equalized through the narrow variable orifices 51 to 54 so that hydraulic pressure acting on the power cylinder 20 is gradually varied. |
