PURPOSE:To obtain the wettability and adhesive properties of an excellent surface, and to improve the definition and durability of printing by executing activation-energy irradiation treatment to at least one surface of melt-extruded non-oriented or uniaxially oriented polyester film, bringing a contact angle with the water of the surface to 90 deg. or less, forming a coated layer to a treating surface and biaxially orienting or uniaxially orienting the film. CONSTITUTION:A polymer mixture, in which polyester and a thermoplastic resin insoluble to polyester are mixed, is acquired by mixing, melting and kneading the chips of each resin, and extruding and solidifying them. The polymer is brought to a non-oriented or weakly oriented state normally. When at least uniaxial-orientation treatment is further conducted to the polymer by roll orientation, etc., peeling is generated on the interface of an insoluble thermoplastic resin and polyester, and a large number of cavities are generated. Activation-energy irradiation treatment is executed to at least one surface of a melt-extruded non-oriented polyester film or a uniaxially oriented polyester film, a contact angle with the water of the surface is brought to 90 deg. or less, and a coated layer is formed to a treating surface and the film is further biaxially oriented or uniaxially oriented. |
