PURPOSE:To suppress absorption of moisture and to prevent deterioration of superconducting characteristic by covering part of front part of a superconductor body with porous superconductor, and immersing the superconductor with water repellent. CONSTITUTION:A Y series oxide superconductor body 2 is formed on a YSZ board 1, made of porous Y series oxide superconductor so as to surround the body 2, and formed with a protective layer 2 immersed with water repellent containing silicon. Y series oxide superconductor is printed on the board 1 by a screen printing method, baked in an oxygen atmosphere, then cooled in an electric furnace to form the body 2. The body 2 is coated with oxide superconductor paste in a thickness substantially equal thereto by a screen printing method, baked in the air atmosphere to form a porous oxide superconductor layer 3. |
