PURPOSE:To secure essential minimum picture quality and increase image forma tion speed by fixing a cycle of a standard clock at a value reverse-corresponding to assigned speed and fixing the amount of exposure corresponding to a record ing density indicated value and electrostatic charge potential of a sensitizing body at values corresponding to the speed. CONSTITUTION:An image formation speed control means 3 fixes a cycle of a standard clock at a value reverse-corresponding to speed assigned by an input means 2 and fixes the amount of exposure by an exposing means 110 corresponding to a recording density indicated value and electro static charge potential of a sensitizing body 121 by a charging means 122 at values corresponding to the speed. Consequently, image formation speed changes in accordance with the cycle, and when the cycle becomes low, deterioration of picture quality is taken place, but the amount of exposure by the exposing means 110 and the electrostatic charge of the sensitizing body by the charging means 122 are changed to the values corresponding to the speed, and the image formation speed is changed within a range of level where deterioration of picture quality is not taken place more than necessary. Accordingly, it is possible to secure essential minimum picture quality and increase the image formation speed. |
