PURPOSE:To obtain the process control timing during a recording action via the detection with the same detecting means by performing the relative movement of a document base and a copying optical system offering the process control timing in a copying action in the similar way during the recording action. CONSTITUTION:This recording device has a copying CPU 30 controlling a copying action and a FAX CPU 31 controlling the receiving action of facsimile signals. The copying CPU 30 controls the actions of an exposing lamp 2 and a scan motor 34 serving as a scanning drive system based on action commands from an operation panel 32 provided on the upper panel of a main body and detection signals from a home position sensor SH, an image tip sensor SA and a timing sensor SB provided on the shift path of a scanner, controls the various actions of the device on image formation during the copying action, and controls the display with a display section provided on the operation panel 32. |
