<p>PURPOSE:To remove water with low energy and high removal rate and to easily obtain a, high-purity liq. lower alcohol by bringing the mixed vapors of a processing soln. into contact with a gas separation membrane, cooling and liquefying the impermeated vapor with the water content reduced and the lower alcohol content enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A processing soln. is supplied to an evaporator 30 to generate mixed vapors which are passed through a separation membrane module 40, and the impermeated vapor enhanced in lower alcohol content is discharged from the supply side of the membrane, cooled and liquefied to obtain a high- purity liq. lower alcohol free of water. The steam in the mixed vapors is effectively separated and removed by the membrane in this way, and a high-purity lower alcohol is stably and continuously recovered for a long period with low energy and cost.</p> |
