<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the purity of obtained product O2 gas by supplying a part of the product O2 gas to an O2 adsorbent in the front stage process of an adsorbing process in a pressure swing method. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen gas is separated and conc. according to a pressure swing method using an oxygen adsorbent (e.g. carbon molecular sieve) selectively adsorbing oxygen gas from raw material oxygen gas containing impurity. In the front stage of an adsorbing process wherein the aforementioned raw material gas is supplied to the adsorbents of adsorbing towers 2A-2C to selectively adsorb oxygen gas by the oxygen adsorbent, a part of a conc. product O2 gas is supplied to the oxygen adsorbent regenerated by the desorption of the oxygen gas. As a result, the partial pressure of impurity gas such as N2 in a gaseous phase is lowered and the diffusion speed of the impurity gas to the O2 adsorbent can be lowered and, as a result, the impurity gas remaining in the gaseous phase can be purged at the time of an O2. desorbing process and the purity of the product O2 gas can be enhanced.</p> |
