PURPOSE:To reinforce a porous separator, and to prevent the breaking of the porous separator even against mechanical pressure at the time of high caulking and sealing by arranging resin boards with through-holes on one surface or both surfaces of the porous separator. CONSTITUTION:A resin board 12 made of polyester and having thickness of 0.2mm is punched by a perforating die 11 with perforating needles 11a having a diameter of 0.1mm, and punched in a discoid shape having a diameter of 8mm, thus acquiring a resin board 1a with through-holes 1a. A pair of carbon-paste filled sheets are disposed and unified on a concentric circle through a resin board 1 and a porous separator 4 in the direction that carbon paste electrodes 2 are faced oppositely, pressure of 4kg/cm<2> is applied from the vertical direction, the unified sheets are left at stand for three hr in a temperature atmosphere of 125+ or -5 deg.C under the state, and sections among unvulcanized butyl rubbers are vulcanized and bonded, thus, obtaining elements 6. A laminate 7 in which the elements 6 are laminated is housed in a conductive metallic case 10, and covered with a built-up electrode 8, mechanical pressure is applied in the vertical direction, and the upper end of the metallic case 10 is bent inward and caulked and sealed as the state is left as it is held, thus acquiring an electric double layer capacitor. |
