Tool reciprocates on a surface in the vibration-plane of the tip and has hard diamond powder as abrader. The abrasive particle size is 20-60 microns and the tool operates at 15-30 kHz and amplitude of 0.05-0.12 mm. The area treated is supplied with water for cooling and flushing surplus filling amalgam clear. |
