Arrangement for producing hollow objects Esp. of rubber hot water bottles by injection moulding. The core of the bottle can be moved independently of the high pressures inside the mould and it is attached in the first stage to the mould walls by its free end. The core can be moved by a hydraulic cylinder. The reason for this is that the broad and flat core must be supported in the first stage by the wall at the neck. A certain quantity of material is injected into the mould and when the core is adequately supported it is moved back into its correct position and the remaining material is injected and the core is not subjected to differential pressure. |
