PURPOSE:To manufacture a highly accurate lenticular lens array and a display element so well in terms of mass production by installing this lenticular lens array consisting of low melting point glass formed on a transparent glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:Light in an opening and in and around this opening is condensed on the opening of each picture element by means of a lenticular lens array 7 consisting of low melting point glass 4 formed on a transparent glass substrate 3. Therefore an opening factor in the picture element grows larger in substance, making such a display as bright in scope and excellent in display quality securable. A suchlike display element is subjected to hot forming with press forming dies 1, 2 formed into the desired lenticular lens array 7. With this constitution, the highly accurate lenticular lens array and the display element are manufacturable so well in terms of mass production. |
