<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the resonance and frictional connection sound of an electro magnetic clutch by tightly attaching elastic member to the outer periphery of the rotor of the electromagnetic clutch having an armature which is drawn to the rotor and separated from it by applying an electric current to an exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic clutch having a rotor 3 coupled with an engine through a V-belt, an armature plate 6 formed of a movable piece attached to a hub 2 through a plate spring 5 and an exciting coil 9, an elastic member 10 formed of rubber or the like is fixed to the outer periphery 3a of the rotor 3. The excitation of vibration occurring in the case of the frictional connection of an armature plate 9 with the rotor 3 to the rotor 3 is damped, and the occurrence of the frictional connection sound of the clutch can thereby be prevented.</p> |
