<p>PURPOSE:To control the resonance of an electromagnetic clutch by applying stabilizer for the coefficient of friction prepared by combining solid lubricant and additive agent to prevent decrease in the coefficient of friction using resin to both the sides or one side of the frictional faces between an armature and a rotor which are drawn and separated by electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic clutch has a hub 2, a rotor 3, an armature plate 6 which is arranged coaxially with the rotor 3 at slight magnetic space 4, and formed of a movable piece attached to the hub 2 through a plate spring 5, and an exciting coil 9. Friction stabilizer 10 made by combining solid lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide, copper powder, and additive agent to prevent decrease in the coefficient of friction such as silicon carbide and uniting them using epoxy resin or the like is applied to the friction surface 6a of the armature plate 6. Thus the steep increase caused by repeated engaging and disengaging actions in frictional torque, and the resonance of the rotor can be controlled, and the frictional sound of the clutch can be prevented.</p> |
