A valve for liquids and/or gases has a cage 4 with apertures 7 mounted axially of a housing 1 and a tubular diaphragm 5 which can be internally pressurized through passage 15 and expanded into contact with the cage to stop flow through the apertures 7. In a modification a two-piece housing clamps a two-piece doublecone apertured cage between the pieces and a pressurizable tubular diaphragm, which is thicker adjacent its end clamped portions, is mounted in the cage so as to be expansible to close apertures in both cone pieces.</p> |
