CONNECTION STRUCTURE BETWEEN THIN TUBE AND METAL TUBE

PURPOSE:To obtain the connection structure between a metal tube and a thin tube which secures the superior sealing performance and eudures the use for a long period by caulking the connection part outer peripheral part of a protecting sleeve fitted with the connection part outer peripheral part of a thin tube, at two places by or more a metal sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A smooth protecting sleeve 6 which is made of the same material to a thin tube 2 and has a smooth outer peripheral part is fitted with the connection part outer peripheral part 2b of the thin tube 2, and a metal sleeve 8 having the smooth inner peripheral part is fitted with the outer peripheral part of the protecting tube 6. In this state, caulking is performed at two caulking places 8b or more, keeping an interval 8a, with a prescribed tightening portion from the outer periphery of the metal sleeve 8 in this state by using a caulking jig. Accordingly, the metal sleeve 8 is drawn at the caulking part 8b, and the protecting sleeve 6 and the thin tube 2 and deformed, and a sealing force is applied on the tube connection part. Accordingly, even if the caulking work is carried out in a slightly nonuniform state, the uniform seal is obtained on the whole periphery of the tube connection part by interposing the protecting sleeve, and the superior sealing performance can be obtained.
