<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming device for a fuel cell having a desulfurization section in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the reforming device for a fuel cell for reforming raw fuel into hydrogen-rich reformed gas, a reforming section 12 creates reformed gas from the raw fuel. A reforming reaction cylinder 18 houses the reforming section 12, a shift transformation section, and a selective oxidation section 16 straight in this sequence, and also houses the desulfurization section 160. A burning means creates burnt exhaust gas by burning the raw fuel. A steam supply passage 42 vaporizes water by heating of the burnt exhaust gas in order to supply steam to the reforming section 12. A raw fuel supply passage 40 passes through the inside of the reforming reaction cylinder 18, and is connected with the desulfurization section 160 on the way. Temperature of the raw fuel rises by heating of the burnt exhaust gas in order to supply the raw fuel raised in temperature by the reforming section 12. The desulfurization section 160 has a hydrogen desulfurization catalyst for removing sulfur from the raw fuel at reaction with hydrogen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
