The substrate may be Ni, P.V.C. metallized with Ag or Ni, Ag or graphite and the flakes may be Ag 10 micron diameter x 0À1 micron thick, Au or Ni. The flakes may be applied to the substrate as a suspension in glycerol and rubbed on the surface or applied as dry flakes and floated in acetone to align the flakes. |
