<p>Felt, fleece strip or plate fibre material either metallic or non metallic is prefabricated to the electrode configuration but with a pore volume of 85-98% and a thickness proportional to the required electrode thickness. It is then clad with metal or alloy coating appropriate to its end use and compressed to the thickness required with its final pore volume 85%. It may then be heat treated or given additional locallised compression and the lead outs fitted.</p> |
