METHOD FOR LAMINATING POLYMER SHEET

PURPOSE:To obtain a thick-walled polymer by a method wherein an adhesive film layer is provided between a plurality of polymer films rolled and stretched in a uniaxial direction and the whole is sent out so as to be looped until it reaches predetermined length while continuously heated to objective temp. and compressed under cooling by a press. CONSTITUTION:The cut plate 7 of a raw plate material heated in a heating oven is rolled in a uniaxial direction by a rolling roll 6 while tension is applied thereto by a tensioning device 8. The matrix 7 and an adhesive film advance through a heating oven 10 having a plurality of heating rolls 11 arranged thereto in the state of a preliminarily laminated coil 9. The material heated in the oven is gradually increased in its loop quantity by a dancer roll 13 and, when the loop of the material reaches definite length, pinch rolls 14 are rotated to eliminate the loop and the material is transferred to the gap between the compression tools 15 of a press 12. Each of these compression tools has a forcible cooling device and the material 9 is compressed to be cooled to predetermined temp. Thereafter, the material is cut by a cutter 16 to obtain a sheet 17.
