PURPOSE:To obtain excellent thermal response but make coloring by solvents difficult by containing 1,4-bisbenzene as an electron receptive compound and one kind of specific heat melting compounds. CONSTITUTION:1,4-bisbenzene is used as an electron receptive compound for thermal recording sheet and also at least one kind of chemicals of the formulae I-V is used as heat-melting material. 1,4-bisbenzene is obtained by reacting diisopropenyl benzene with 2-mol equivalent of phenol in the existence of an acid catalyst as Friedelcraft reaction. It is in the form of white needle crystal with a melting point of 145 deg.C and a low level of dissolution to solvents such as alcohol, ketone and benzene derivatives. Therefore, if 1,4-bisbenzene is jointly used with a heat-melting material, sufficient thermal response can be assured, thus meeting these two requirements. Further, the compounds of the formula I-V should preferably have a melting point ranging 70-150 deg.C preferably, 80-130 deg.C. |
