<p>Household cleaning mops are mfd. automatically and at reduced cost by winding a yarn about longitudinally moving supports to produce a lay flat tube which is then subdivided by means of laterally extending and upwardly directed guides into two central upstanding loops flanked by two laterally extending loops which are seamed at the troughs by three sewing machines to a textile fabric canvas and the crests of the sewn loops are severed by cutting blades coacting with the guides to produce the fringes of the mops.</p> |
