<p>Aqs. suspension of alpha-CaSO4.1/2H2O for casting building parts, partitions slabs and moulded bodies of desired homogeneous thickness and high strength is continuously prepd. by leading alpha-CaSO4.1/2H2O and water to a mixer already contg. 0.5-6 (partic. 1-3) vol % of semihydrate/water amount supplied per hr., and the wet-grinding the suspension formed by mixing, for adjusting the required casting consistency. Pref. wt. ratio CaSO4.1/2H2O:H2O is 0.7:1 to 3:1, pref. av. residence time in mixer is 60 secs. max.; pref. av. residence time in grinding device is not >30 secs.; pref. wet-grinding takes place in a milling pump and pref. flow-rate of wet-ground alpha-CaSO4.1/2H2O suspension is 1.5 m/sec. Pref. apparatus contains a wet-pump strongly joined to a vertical mixer.</p> |
