The twisting machine for 2 x 3 reels, is mounted in a vertical silhouette to reduce shop floor space, by using an upright frame with its associated spools, motor and couplings. The spool mountings and the twisting mechanism are adjustable to give variable speeds, and the spools have their centres of gravity equalised along their shafts to give a consistent high speed performance. |
