Apparatus for filling a mould with a pourable mass has a movable, bottomless filling mould with a variable filling volume lying on a bottom plate with an ejection opening below a fixed pouring plate with a filling opening. The apparatus enables the quantity of the pourable mass introduced into the mould to be accurately controlled. The apparatus is simple and operates rapidly and reliably.
