<p>Fluoroacetamide tickicides - N-(2,2,2,-trichloro-1-phenylthioethyl)-fluoroacetamides and their prepn. Cpds of formula: (where R=halogen and n=2 or 3, or R=t-Bu and n=1) are tickicides and also insecticides, acaricides, selective rodenticides, fungicides and bactericides, and may be prepd by reacting a (R)n-substd. thiophenol (or its alkali metal or NH4 salt) with N-(2,2,2-trichloro-1-chloroethyl)fluoroacetamide.</p> |
