Title derivs. have the formula: (where n is 0 or 1; R is carboxyl, 2-8C (substd.) carbalkoxy or (substd.)carbonamide; R1 is cyano, carboxyl, (substd.)carbalkoxy or (substd.)carbonamide and B is: where R2 and R3 = H or alkyl; X is H, 1-5C alkyl, methoxy or ethoxy and Y is H, sulphonic acid or (substd.)sulphonamide). The cpds. can be used to dye e.g. polycaprolactam.
